William Norman Carlson, PA-C joined Carolina Pain and Weight Loss in 2017. A Philadelphia native, he graduated in 1996 from Alderson Broaddus University in Phililppi, WV, Cum Laude, and after spending 15 years in Primary care, he has spent the last 8 years in Pain Management. He holds memberships in the Pain Society of the Carolinas and the North Carolina Association of Physician Assistants. He has received his Suboxone exemption and participates in Opioid Addiction Treatment and management of this important and underserved part of the population. His clinical interests include medical management of pain, treatment of muscle and joint pain with trigger point injections and joint injections and supervised Medically Assisted Treatment for Addiction. His knowledge and experience, combined with his witty personality make his patients feel both welcomed and well managed. “GO EAGLES!”
