Hi, I’m Simone, I am originally from Brazil and have lived in the US for over half of my life. I received my ADN from Maria College in Albany, NY, and spent many years working in upstate NY for St. Peter’s Hospital. I was encouraged by many colleagues to continue with my education, and I received my BS and MS from the State University of New York Polytechnic Institute. I am a double board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner.
I specialize to treat those with chronic pain conditions, substance abuse, and weight management. Being a healthcare provider is a calling and I love being able to build trusting provider-patient relationships, listening to the patient’s stories, diagnosing their conditions, and providing individualized treatment plan. My goal is that every patient I meet with leaves Carolina Pain and Weight Loss with an improvement in their overall well-being.
When not working I enjoy time with my family and going on adventures throughout the beautiful state of North Carolina.
