Hi, I’m Simone. I am originally from Brazil and have lived in the United States for over half my life. I received my ADN from Maria College in Albany, NY, and spent many years working as an RN in upstate NY for St. Peter’s Hospital. I was encouraged by many colleagues to further my education, and I received my BS and MS with a major in Family Nurse Practitioner from the State University of New York Polytechnic Institute. I am currently certified by both ANCC and AANP.
My specialization lies in the treatment of individuals dealing with chronic pain conditions, substance abuse, and weight management. Being a healthcare provider is a calling where I take pride in building trusting provider-patient relationships, listening to my patients’ stories, diagnosing their conditions, and providing individualized treatment plans. My goal is that every patient I meet with leaves Carolina Pain and Weight Loss with an improvement in their overall well-being.
When not working, I enjoy time with my family and going on adventures throughout our beautiful state of North Carolina.
